Their story begins in early 2018. Tyler had recently relocated for work and lived in an area where he didn't know too many people aside from his roommates. In an effort to make new friends, Tyler found himself swiping on the internet. After a few weeks of being generally uninterested in the people he was meeting, he swiped right on Lacey.

Lacey wasn’t sure if she was ready to date or settle into anything serious. She decided to go on tinder to see what was out there. After being not so lucky she decided to try one more time. She matched with Tyler! She already adored everything about him when they first started talking. They decided to meet up and go on their first date. It was the day after St. Patrick’s day, so she knew she had to be on her best behavior to meet up with Tyler the next day. After that she deleted tinder because she knew she had found something special! They continued to date. The first year of dating ended up being one of the hardest years for them both. Lacey had experienced a lot of sadness that year, as did Tyler. They were there for each other. They believed that it helped their bond become stronger. The end of that year they both had went to Disney together where Tyler finally told Lacey he loved her. She was over the moon! She was madly in love with this man. They decided to move in together in 2019. It was a big step because Lacey hadn’t been on her own yet and Tyler was going to take on a lot of responsibility becoming a reptile parent! He was and still is the best reptile dad to their scaly babies! Everything was perfect! Then in November of 2022, Lacey and Tyler went on a Disney trip that would change their lives forever! Tyler had told Lacey that he wanted to take photos in front of the castle later that day. Lacey thought it was so cute because in front of the castle is where they first said “I love you”. Tyler had discreetly told a Disney photographer what he had planned. They stood there to take pictures with family and friends. The photographer then had asked for just the couple to be in front of that castle. Tyler and Lacey were taking photos when all of a sudden Tyler had said “I have a question for you”. Then he proceeded to get down on one knee. Lacey was in tears, completely surprised. She had said yes before Tyler could even pop the question! She was so excited! The rest of the trip didn’t feel real to Lacey. She went to Disney as a girlfriend and left a fiance! After they got home the wedding planning started. They are both excited for their happily ever after!
