Q + A

What is the dress code for wedding day?

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Gentlemen, please come suited up in your sharpest suit and tie. Ladies, we encourage you to go all out with a stunning long formal dress in the color of your choosing!. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style! Note: Avoid Tuxedos unless specifically asked to wear one. Respectfully, avoid shades of white ;)

What shoes do you recommend for women?

The "Post-toast", wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be outside in mostly grass. To avoid holes in the grass or a broken ankle, we recommend a chunk heel, wedge or plastic heel covers that you may purchase on amazon (lifesaver!).

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! Get ready to party (responsibly)! For this reason, we strongly encourage staying at the Jekyll Island Club Resort (2 minute walk away from venue).

Where do I stay?

Please refer to the "Travel Page"

How does parking/ island entrance work?

Jekyll island is a state park. Due to this, upon entrance onto the island, there is a $10 fee required at the entrance station. We recommend bringing cash as the cash line will move faster. At the Island resort, there is valet parking. If you arriving a day or two prior to the wedding and are staying at either the Island club or Ocean club, there is a shuttle that can transfer you back and forth. The "sister resort," Jekyll Island Beach Club is a great spot for a beach/pool day, restaurants and shopping. The Island club also has a pool and local activities!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. Please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to allow time to find your seat and enjoy the beautiful scenery. If you are staying at the Jekyll Island Club Resort, the venue is a short 2 minute walk away. Please allow for ample time to get to venue if staying at the Jekyll Ocean Club Resort or designated hotel. Shuttles will be available.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The "post toast", ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be held outdoors. The Reception will be under a clear-top tent.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we kindly ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will later share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

When do we need to RSVP by?

March 22nd, 2025

Can I bring a guest/date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you go to RSVP online. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Are children invited?

We encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself!! We love your little ones, but in order to keep the celebration more intimate, we've decided to make this a grown-ups-only affair (besides a couple of teens). We hope this gives you a chance to enjoy the evening to the fullest, but we understand if you need to make arrangements for childcare. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and share this special day together!
