Many would not be surprised to know that we met at a Rockford Wrestling meet, in the gym at 15 years old. I asked Gage "Who is that? (insert heart eyes). Gage replied "Tyler Glave. He is one of my best friends". It was love at first sight, an immediate spark. Our families happened to go on Spring Break together shortly after our first meeting. I knew there was a deep connection that went beyond the beach. Tyler asked me to be his girlfriend that summer in the back of our parent's car trunk with the hatch open, watching the rain fall. We fell deeply in love in our high school years. We attended multiple homecomings and prom at Rockford. I knew he was the one, even then. We went our separate ways for 3 years in college, but whenever we saw each other with our friends & families the connection was always still there. In fall of 2019, we started talking again and invited each other to our formal dances. We knew instantly that this is what we had been searching for while apart. We both admitted "I still love you" after a few days of being back together. We graduated college from WMU and CMU in 2021. We bought our house in 2023, and Tyler proposed on the beach of Lake Michigan at sunset in June of 2024. Since then, we have built a life together, been on multiple international trips, and fallen deeper in our affections. Tyler and I feel so lucky to have found our "person" as we grow closer to God and one another daily.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout our long journey. We love each one of you!
