Although their story as a couple doesn't technically start here, this is the day they met, at their best friends' wedding and the first picture they have together.

Vanessa & Tyler's first official outing as friends after Tyler had just recently started a job in the same department as Vanessa. Allie was trying very hard to get them together as often as possible so they could grow closer. They went Mini Golfing at Congo River and Vanessa won by a landslide.

After their Mini Golf outing, they went to Saki for dinner. Allie loved trying to sneak photos.

Vanessa, Allie & Tyler at their company communications meeting playing indoor mini golf (and always trying to get pics together). At this point, Tyler was still against dating Vanessa because he didn't want to give in to the peer pressure from surrounding sources.

The day Tyler's desk was moved next to Vanessa's desk at work. She was obviously excited.

Their first Disney trip together. 3 hours in the car just the two of them going to and from Disney and they had really great and deep conversations. Vanessa remembers the ride feeling too short, and Tyler remembers it as the time he finally started seeing Vanessa as a potential partner.

The day before Hurricane Ian hit. Everyone in their department worked from home this day, but Tyler & Vanessa went into the office because they thought it would be fun being the only ones there. Vanessa pretended to watch Batman with Tyler.

Their first time at Halloween Horror Nights. It was a fun night, although Vanessa was scared and wanted to be close to Tyler and couldn't yet. She tried to accidentally get close to him in a Haunted House and he said "why are you so close to me" :(

The first home game of the season. This was the night Vanessa & Tyler finally admitted (through text) they liked each other.

Their first Disney Trip together after having a conversation about dating. Tyler at first wasn't sure dating in the same department was a good idea. After this day at Disney spent with his mom and brother, he realized how much fun this could be and didn't want to miss the opportunity to try.

The day Tyler finally asked Vanessa to be his girlfriend at a friends wedding.

Their first official outing as a couple at a friends Halloween party.

Their first of many Lightning games as a couple.

Tyler & Vanessa's first vacation together and Tyler's first cruise.

Tyler & Vanessa closed on their first home together!

Their first Anniversary, where they spent the day at Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Tyler picked up the engagement ring he designed for Vanessa while she was out of town.

The YES day. Vanessa and Tyler got home from shopping and dinner. Vanessa walked through the front door and saw flashing lights in the backyard. She thought they were being robbed. Tyler says "lets go look!". Naturally, Vanessa, horrified, says "NO". Tyler opens the sliding door, and says "just go look" and to her COMPLETE surprise, the backyard was transformed into a Christmas wonderland with candles, trees, a snow machine and lots of twinkling lights. He walks her to the end of the path and says "I got us a new ornament this year, its a special one". The ornament was a Disney castle ring box containing Vanessa's dream engagement ring inside.

She said YES and the rest is history.
