Our Story 

Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe on Bumble. We matched, started chatting, and quickly realized we had something special. The conversation flowed easily, and we couldn’t wait to meet in person. Well, almost. Truth be told, Calli nearly canceled the date. She had every excuse: nerves, timing, second thoughts, but something told her to just go for it. So she did. She made the drive from Fond du Lac and picked Ty up on the way to our first date at Ancho and Agave. That night was filled with laughter, great food, and conversation that felt like we had known each other forever. We both left knowing something was different. As we grew closer, Calli discovered one of Ty’s favorite hobbies: his extensive Pokémon card collection. What began as a fun and unexpected detail turned into something they began to enjoy together. Before long, Calli wasn’t just admiring the collection, she was collecting cards too. The most special one of all was the night Ty proposed. From a Bumble match to tacos, trading cards, and forever, we wouldn’t change a thing. We are so excited to celebrate our story with all of you who have loved and supported us along the way. Thank you for being part of this wonderful journey so far. We cannot wait to start a new chapter and celebrate with you all on our big day!

Tyler’s partner-in-crime since middle school! Zeth has seen it all, from the rare touchdown pass to Tyler, to expertly avoiding high school track workouts, to the occasional questionable casino bet. Through every bad decision and great memory, he’s been right there by Tyler’s side.
He’s one of the most reliable friends you could ever ask for. Zeth is the kind of guy who shows up without hesitation and always has your back, no matter what.

Zeth Karls 

Kassidy and Calli met through a mutual friend, and since then, Kassidy has been the most supportive and vibrant friend by Calli's side. From the best of times to the hardest moments, Kassidy's loyalty and energy have been a constant in Calli's life. Their friendship is truly special, and Calli is beyond grateful to have Kassidy standing by her side on this special day.

Kassidy Nigl 

Simon and Tyler met at Edgewood University, where Tyler was the laid-back sophomore RA and Simon was the freshman basketball phenom. Their bond was forged over fried Oreos, nacho nights, vodka meatballs (which were so bad even the campus raccoons refused), and dominating free darts on 25-cent mixer nights. Simon might claim he could beat Tyler in basketball—just smile and nod. We all know the truth.

Simon Breunig 

Bailey was the very first friend Ty introduced to Calli, (along with her husband Simon) shortly before their relationship began- and what a gift that turned out to be. As Calli made the big move to Madison, Bailey made everything feel easy and welcoming. Her constant support, kindness and presence quickly turned her into one of Calli's closest friends. Calli will forever be grateful to Ty for introducing her to someone special- and even more grateful to have Bailey standing by her side on their wedding day. 

Bailey Breunig 

Spencer was one of Tyler’s college roommates and a basketball teammate of Simon’s. Mornings often began with The Price is Right, which Spencer and Simon somehow prioritized over attending calculus. Tyler, of course, went to class like a responsible student. Despite being harassed at all hours with Tyler’s arsenal of impressions (including Gollum/Smeagol, a slithering snake, and an unsettlingly accurate Elmo), and enduring overly intense dorm room basketball, Spencer has remained a loyal friend. Tyler still hopes to one day beat him in a round of golf.

Spencer Bylsma 

Annika is Calli's friend from way back, a friendship built on countless memories and shared milestones. From club volleyball and high school sports to college sorority dances, and trips to Mexico and Nashville, these two have been through it all. Their bond has only grown stronger over the years, and Calli could not imagine this day without Annika by her side. After everything they've experienced together, Calli knows this is just another chapter in a lifelong friendship.

Annika Hintze 

Tyler and Evan go way back to St. Joe’s pre-K, and he’s been the go-to guy ever since. From last-minute projects to making sure Tyler doesn’t completely botch a home repair, Evan always shows up. Just a word of advice, don’t try to match him drink-for-drink at the open bar. You’ve been warned.

Evan Pratt 

Sarah is the sister Calli never had. Their friendship began when Calli was welcomed into the Hoepfner household as a young girl. From that moment on, Sarah has been a constant source of love and support. As an only child, Calli always wished for a sister, and Sarah has more than filled that role with her kindness, care, and heart of gold. Their bond is incredibly special, and Calli can’t imagine life without her “bonus” sister by her side.

Sarah Randall 

Kyle and Tyler met through Calli, and Tyler’s been better off ever since. Known for his sharp business sense, legendary white elephant gifts, and unmatched ability to have a good time, Kyle brings energy wherever he goes. Whether he’s stirring up fun or adding just the right amount of chaos, he’s got a talent for making good times even better. Just ask anyone who remembers the infamous “Bacardi Wanna Party” gift. He’s also here to make sure our other usher doesn’t take over the DJ booth.

Kyle Nigl 

Gabbi has been one of Calli's friends since 8th grade. Their bond was sparked when Gabbi's now husband and Calli's friend Zach started dating. Over the years, Gabbi became like family, joining us on trips up north, camping, and tubing days. Calli and Gabbi faced the challenges of nursing school together, always encouraging and venting through the tough times. Calli is thankful for the friendship and memories she shares with Gabbi. 

Gabbi Hanlon-Hoepfner 

Tyler met Cody through Simon, who went to high school with him and life has been louder and better ever since. Cody is the life of the party and the glue that holds any friend group together. He’s a TouchTunes legend, known for filling the entire queue before anyone else even opens the app. He agreed to be an usher mostly because there weren’t any better weddings on his calendar and we’re lucky to have him.

Cody Mack 

Rachel and Calli met while hosting the New Year's Eve party the night Calli and Tyler started dating. Since then, they have shared countless moments from girls' nights, to annual camping trips. Rachel has been so welcoming, loyal, genuine and sure knows how to have a good time. She also makes a mean espresso martini. If you are lucky, maybe she will hop behind the bar and make you one herself.
