If you want to experience the magic that is Red Rocks, you MUST put this on your list of things to do while in town. Hundred’s of thousands people travel far and wide every year to see this historic Denver staple! With its first concert taking place back in 1906, this site is true a part of history.

It is located roughly 25-30 minutes from the hotel.

Make sure to wear comfy clothing, especially if you plan to climb the stairs or hike around. Also make sure to bring water!

Whether you want to go on a Segway tour, a bike tour, a hike, horseback riding, or even rock climbing, Garden of the God’s in Colorado Springs is the place to visit! With over 480 acres of natural history to witness, this is a great place to visit while here in CO.

It is located just under an hour away from the hotel (south).

If shopping is how you’d like to spend some time over the weekend, Cherry Creek North is where you’ll want to be. From high-end restaurants, to boutique shopping (clothing/home, etc.), it’s a great & walkable place to spend some time. If you wish to be indoors & shop, the Cherry Creek Mall is directly across the street! With Hermes, to Burberry, Neiman Marcus, to Nordstrom, the mall has stores for everyone.

Located in Downtown Denver, Union Station is a staple to visit. From the ornate architecture to the yummy places to eat inside, it’s a great place to see. From an ice cream shop, to the bars, Union Station is a cool place to spend time. Being that it’s in downtown, it also makes it a walkable location to explore around the heart of the city.

If you’re a beer lover, why not get a brewery tour of one of our Nation’s most beloved beers: Coors! Opened in 1873, the Coors Brewery in Golden is the largest single-site brewery in the world. Still family owned after 4 generations, this is a great experience while visiting Colorado.

Just down the street from the brewery tour is one of Tyler’s & my favorite places to relax, eat, and drink: The Golden Mill. It’s got lots of variety of beers & wines to enjoy along with food options such as sushi, Mexican, southern, New Zealand ice cream, etc.

These two spots are located about 30-40 minutes northwest of the hotel.
