Q + A

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP as soon as possible, but at least by the first of August. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we will have to mark you as a 'no'. We need to provide the venue and vendors with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you understand.

How do I RSVP?

Please RSVP here on our website under the RSVP tab. You will enter the name of one person on your invitation and then you will be able to choose who of your party will be attending. If you have any trouble doing so please reach out to us!

When should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 at the church. Please arrive with enough time to park, make your way into the church, and be seated before the ceremony begins. We suggest to arrive at least 20 minutes early.

Church Parking

Church parking will be behind the church and church hall, but spots are limited. There is extra parking across the street at the elementary school after school is out.

Reception Parking

Reception parking at Historic Hampton House will be marked by signs. The entrance is on the street behind the venue. On the way to the venue parking you will pass the Historic Hampton House on your right. You will then turn right at the first light onto E Cedar Rock St and take the next right onto Hagood St. The parking lot will then be on the right. From the parking lot follow the lighted path through the trees to arrive at the venue.

Can I bring a plus one?/Can I bring my kids?

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. All invited guests will be shown on your RSVP page. This includes your kiddos, as much as we love your little ones, this wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of some family members. Thank you for understanding.

Is smoking/vaping allowed?

There should be no smoking/vaping under any circumstances except within the marked areas. This is a request made by both the church and the reception venue. Failure to comply will result in a major fee toward us and we ask that you please be respectful of our big day.

What is dressy causal to semi-formal?

We invite our guests to dress in a dressy casual to semi-formal style for our special day. For men, you may choose between a nice shirt with dress pants/khakis or a full suit. For women, cocktail dresses, long dresses, or a stylish pantsuit are all wonderful options. Please feel free to dress comfortably within these guidelines while keeping the occasion elegant. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away and on silent during the ceremony, we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us. (Other than the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like).

Is the wedding outside?

The ceremony will be held within the church, but cocktail hour and the reception will be held outdoors.
