Ty and I went to St. Bens/ Saint John’s University and met there in February 2020!

One Saturday night Both Ty and I arrived at the "romantic" Sal’s bar and grill in St. Joe with our friends. Sal’s is our college dive bar, complete with a checkered dance floor and all! Ironically, we ended up meeting because Ty was trying to set one of his friends up with one of mine! We were all on the dance floor and somehow Ty and I got separated from the group and began having a full-on dance battle. You heard that right, a DANCE BATTLE. To this day, neither of us know why or how this happened but I am so glad it did. Somewhere between the dancing he asked me if I liked rock music. For those of you who know Ty, I’m sure you are not surprised by this. When I answered yes, he followed with the test question… “do you know Lynyrd Skynyrd”. I couldn’t help but laugh at the level of ease the question held and was hooked from that moment on!

We began dating shortly after and the rest was history! There is no one I would rather have by my side than Ty and we are so excited to continue our many adventures together as a married couple!
