Tyler and Ashlea's story begins less than a mile from the church where they will share their vows. From 2014-2018, Ashlea and TK built a strong foundation through a close friendship at Reservoir High School. Once they graduated, they quickly found their friendship could lead into something greater. At the well-renowned beach week afforded to seniors after graduation and affectionately known as 'Sweek', Ashlea and TK made their relationship official. Soon after, they were tested with their first obstacle as a couple with Tyler going off to college in West Virginia. While this could normally break down a new relationship, it proved to strengthen theirs with Ashlea flying in a potentially life threatening puddle jumper sized plane to WV for visits. Fast forward to six years later, Ashlea has earned her PHD (Professional Hair Dresser) certification and Tyler continues on his path to becoming D.C.'s best electrician (with many family members employing him to install the newest light switches). Recently, they purchased their very first home which would provide the setting for their long-awaited engagement (way to go Tyler!). They cannot wait to celebrate their relationship and nuptials alongside friends and family.
