Q & A
What is the dress code for your wedding?
Garden Party Semi-Formal "A garden party wedding dress code is typically semi-formal or dressy-casual, with an emphasis on colors, patterns, and lighter fabrics suited for outdoor settings. It's less rigid than a black-tie affair but still requires a polished look." Wedding party colors are light blue and/or sage green. | Ladies example: A floral printed maxi dress, a flowy midi dress with pastel colors, a stylish jumpsuit, a tea-length dress in a light fabric, a skirt and blouse combo with delicate details, or a romper with dressier sandals, all prioritizing breathable materials like cotton, linen, or chiffon while considering comfortable footwear like wedges, flats, or strappy sandals. | Mens example: A light-colored linen suit, a sport coat with dress pants in a soft color, a crisp dress shirt with a patterned tie, or even a nice polo shirt with chinos.

I can not make the ceremony, but can make the reception - Should I still RSVP?
YES! Just text one of us to let us know so that we can get an accurate headcount for the food.

Respectfully, we have chosen to make our wedding ceremony a child-free event due to venue occupancy restrictions. This does not apply to the reception, your kiddos are more than welcome! We only ask that you let us know ahead of time so that we can plan for food. You can texts either of us or send a note when you RSVP :)

Ceremony: Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum 2215 Pan America E Road, San Diego, CA 92101 |
Reception: Thorn St. Brewery North Park 3176 Thorn Street, San Diego, CA 92104
Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?
Yes, the venue is within Balboa Park where there is plenty of free public parking! We recommend parking in the "Organ Pavillion Parking Lot" or the "Rube Powell Archery Range" parking lot... You can find both locations with google maps! | Parking at the reception venue SUCKS (street parking only), so we recommend either carpooling or Ubering from the park and back.
