When and where is the wedding ?
The wedding will be held at Firehouse Chicago on Rosemont Avenue. Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue. The ceremony will start promptly at 5 PM, so please arrive early to be seated on time. Following the ceremony, there will be a brief cocktail hour, followed by dinner and the reception!
Is there a dress code?
We encourage everyone to dress their best in cocktail attire. Our venue features both indoor and outdoor spaces, so please dress accordingly for comfort. Kindly refrain from wearing white. We can't wait to celebrate with you in style!
Can I bring a date?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding !
Are kids invited?
We love your littles ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a night out!
Is there a hotel block for guests?
There is no hotel block reserved since most guests are local. However, feel free to choose any hotel that works best for you, either near the venue or close to Printer’s Row, where the after-party will be held. Let us know if you need any recommendations!
What is the best way to get to the venue?
For everyone’s safety after a fun night, we highly recommend using rideshare to get to and from the venue. If you choose to drive, there are many parking lots and garages available in the area, with the closest option being the 48-spot parking lot at Hayt Elementary School (W Thome & N Greenview).
Food and beverage ?
We’ll be serving a delicious BBQ feast, featuring pulled pork and smoked turkey as the main dishes. An open bar will be available for all guests to enjoy, and we kindly encourage you to bring a little cash to tip the bartenders! If you have any dietary restrictions, please reach out to Tyler or Alyssa as soon as possible to ensure we can accommodate your needs. Enjoy the food, drinks, and great company!
Is there an after party?
Yes, there is! With the reception ending at 11:00 PM, we’ve reserved a space at one of our favorite bars, First Draft at 649 S Clark. We’d love for all our guests to join us as we continue the celebration! If you plan on attending, please reach out and let us know so we can get an accurate count for the after-party. We’re excited to keep the night going with more fun, laughter, and memories with all of you!
What happens if I RSVP but can't attend?
If you’ve RSVP’d but find that you’re unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. We completely understand that plans can change, and we appreciate you keeping us informed. This helps us finalize the guest count and make sure we’re prepared to celebrate with everyone!
Are gifts required or registered anywhere?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if you would like to give a gift, we are registered through The Knot, and you can find our registry under the tab above. While any gift is appreciated, our preferred gift would be a contribution to our two cash funds, as we are already well-equipped in our home. There will also be a table onsite for cards and other gifts. Thank you so much for your love and generosity!
