Our journey began in 2021 at Chop House at Lake Sumter, where we initially met as colleagues. Both of us worked as servers, and what started as a professional relationship quickly evolved into a genuine friendship. We spent countless hours together during shifts, and before long, we found ourselves spending time outside of work—whether it was enjoying drinks at local bars, visiting amusement parks, or tubing down Rainbow River. What began as friendly camaraderie gradually deepened into something more meaningful.

Even after we both transitioned away from Chop House later that year, our bond remained strong. We were no longer just coworkers—we had become best friends and partners. In the summer of 2022, we took a significant step forward in our relationship by moving into our first apartment together in Ocala. That apartment became our home, filled with love, laughter, and memories that would lay the foundation for the next chapter of our lives.

On January 13, 2024, Tyler orchestrated a special surprise—a dinner at Lake Sumter, the very place where our story began. On the docks, Tyler proposed, and Avery, with a heart full of love, said yes. From that moment forward, we began planning our future together as a couple.

Since then, we’ve continued to build a life filled with joy and shared dreams. We purchased our first home in Middleton, FL, where we now live with our two beloved roommates, Hank and Minnie.

From coworkers to best friends, and now partners for life, we are excited to continue this beautiful journey together. Our story is a testament to the fact that sometimes the best relationships form in the most unexpected places. As we look to the future, we are filled with anticipation for the many more memories we will create together.
