If it wasn’t for Justin — and his wife, Janelle — setting us up on a blind date, we wouldn’t be here today. Justin has been a constant source of support, laughter, and steady friendship to both Tyler and Alex. As best man, he’s been there through planning chaos and calm moments alike, and we can’t imagine celebrating without him by our side.

Though his travels have taken him to the other side of the country, Austin and Tyler keep in touch like neighbors—always checking in, sharing updates, and picking up right where they left off. As the groom’s brother, Austin has been a steady presence through every milestone, and we’re grateful he’ll be by Tyler’s side on the big day.

Brittney is the glue of the siblings—always keeping everyone on track, organizing family plans, and bringing calm to chaos. As Tyler’s sister, she’s been a steady source of love, practical help, and laughter through every milestone; we’re so grateful she’ll be by our side on the big day.

Bailey and Alex's friendship pre-dates puberty and has stood the test of time and many time zones over the years. We've seen each other through every phase of life and sub-par men, and we agree that self-growth and promotions are just as much worth celebrating as engagements and baby announcements. We are are elated to have both finally found men that live up to our standards, and are both getting married in 2026. We regrettably are skipping our annual Key West trip for the first time in years due to the Year of the Weddings, so they had better live up to the hype!  

Bailey Rodkey 

Best friends since pre-school, Sydney wins the award for Alex's longest friendship. Sydney and Alex attended Indiana University together after graduating from Rossville, and have only lived apart when Sydney moved to Colorado for several years, which gave Alex the perfect excuse to go to Colorado every year and learn to snowboard. Sydney, Alex, and Bailey have remained close friends for decades at this point and are each other's biggest support system. Most recently, watching Sydney navigate motherhood has set the bar for the kind of mom I aspire to be!

Tyler and Alex have Janelle and her husband Justin to thank for our origin story. One blind date and whirlwind of adventures to follow has lead us to where we are today, and we couldn't be more grateful. Alex and Janelle have become incredibly close over the past few years with our similar interests (gardening, bicycling, snow sports, other outdoor hobbies) and when are seen in public without our boys often leave people wondering, are they sisters, lovers, or friends? Janelle Brinn 

Haley Hall was one of Alex's first college friends, and essentially became her third roommate in the dorms with the instant connection they shared. Haley has become more like family over the years, but the type of family that agrees on politics and prioritizing the fun things in life. Excitingly, Haley is also a bride to be in this Year of the Weddings, and Alex and Tyler plan to stop at Great Sand Dunes National Park for a mini-moon on their way to Haley's wedding in Colorado this September.

19 months apart in age but up for debate who is funnier, smarter, or better looking, Alex and Bernie are the sibling duo that go all the way back. Alex and Bernie are both nurses at the same hospital, and enjoy startling people when they make the connection they are brother and sister. As yet another member of the Year of the Weddings club, bernie is engaged to be married sometime in the spring of 2027. Bernie did offer to wear a dress to stand as a Bridesman for his "Sis," but we don't want to give our last Grandma standing a heart attack.

Bree and Alex were college roommates that met on one of those matching sites much like a dating service, and it happened to be a match made in heaven. Laid back, loyal, and down for anything, you can't help but have a good time around Bree. Legend has it she once spent an entire weekend at Klinger Lake and never took her swimsuit off, just kept the party going. That's the kind of energy we need by our side on our day.

Ryan is another friend since college that has become more like family. The Baker's would consider him a son, Alex stood with him as a Groomswoman at his wedding, and now he is doing us the honor of officiating for our wedding. We are in good hands with this one on our big day and we couldn't be more grateful.

Son of Brittney and Levi Clark, Nephew of Tyler and Alex, a real rascal and hella cute!

Tyler and Alex's bear-dog that is only moderately responsible and only comes when he really feels like it and will hopefully not lose the rings.

Wedding Party

Camp chic is a dressy casual wedding attire that blends rustic comfort with elevated style, often featuring earthy tones, breathable fabrics, and functional footwear suited for uneven terrain. Think casual elegance: sundresses, jumpsuits, or patterned midi dresses for women, and chinos/shorts with button-downs, blazers, or patterned shirts for men, often paired with boots or sandals. The bride herself will be in Birkenstocks, and high heels are strongly recommended against. This wedding is in the woods on one of the longest days of the year. Wear something you will be comfortable in!

Dress Code

For those that prefer air conditioning, private bathroom, and adult-sized beds, we have a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express, 10 miles (a 15 minute drive) from the camp. Make sure you let them know you are booking for the Martin Baker Wedding with group code "BWG"

We are really hoping that all of our friends that own an RV, camper, adventure van, or sleeper rig of any sort will bring them for the weekend and stay on-site with us. We will have around 100 acres of this beautiful camp to ourselves, and there is ample gravel parking lots, open grassy areas, and private wooded spaces to choose from. There is also plenty of flat grassy space to pitch a tent both in the woods and under the stars if you're hardcore like that. You will have access to the shared bathroom facilities with showers, but there are no water or electric hookups. Generators welcome.

Bring your own camper, van, or tent 

Our wedding is at a youth summer camp that serves the nearby community. There are 11 cabins with varying sleeping capacities onsite we have access to for those that want to lean all the way in to the summer camp vibes and party all night with us! The cabins are NOT air-conditioned, but they are in the shade in mature woods and stay fairly cool year-round. They DO have electricity, so you could bring a fan or electric blanket for some temperature control. All of the cabins have bunk beds, so you must bring your own pillow and sleeping bag, just like summer camp! There are communal men's and women's bath houses with showers on-site, so you would also need to bring your own showering supplies and towel as well. Plan on bringing all the thing you would bring to stay at a summer camp. If you are interested in reserving one of the limited on-site cabins, please reach out to Tyler or Alex. We will do our best to accommodate everybody that wants in! The camp does charge a small fee of $10 per person per night for the use of the cabins.

BNBs and VRBOs in this area are extremely limited due to the popularity of Klinger Lake, but you might get lucky! Our wedding is located on Lake Tamarack, which is connected to Klinger Lake, that boasts multiple BNBs every summer. May the odds be ever in your favor.
