The Bellevue State Park is a state park of Iowa, along the banks of the Mississippi River just south of Bellevue. There are two seperate locations of the state park. The Nelson Unit is at the south edge of Bellevue on Route 52 which features a 300-foot limestone bluff that overlooks the town of Bellevue and the mighty Mississippi River. The Dyas Unit is 2 miles farther south on 52 and consist of many hiking trails.
Offshore is a resort with luxurious riverfront suites, a campground for the ultimate outdoor escape, a state of the art pools and aquatics center to make a splash, and a bar and restaurant for delicious bites. Just two miles north of Bellevue, Iowa. This is one of our favorite places to go with friends and family!

With more caves than any state park, Maquoketa Caves is one of Iowa’s most unique outdoor attractions. Enormous bluffs tower throughout the park, and a six-mile trail system winds through geologic formations and forests brimming with natural beauty. As one of the state’s earliest state parks, Maquoketa Caves has been a popular destination for picnickers and hikers.
