YES! We both love the Jackson Metro Area, and the food scene here is incredible. The outdoor Mississippi Outlet Mall is a five minute drive away from our venue, and there are lots of other fun things to do nearby. For shopping or movies, we recommend going to the Pearl Outlets, or to another shopping center called The Renaissance in Madison (about a 20 minute drive from the airport). If you'd like to relax, drive/park along the Natchez Trace Parkway and see the Ross Barnett Reservoir Outlook or walk one of its trails. For food, the Renaissance has plenty of options, and so does Lakeland Drive (a road about 5-10 minutes from the airport), where there is a Target, Walmart, and plenty of casual dining. For local dining, we love Aplos and Tuk Tuk Boom, and for fast food, we enjoy Raising Canes and Panera. :) For any families coming, the Children's Museum and Natural Science Museum in Jackson (15 minute drive) are phenomenal and the Le Fleur Bluff State Park (in the same area) is the best park we've ever been to!
