Tyler and Zitlalli started dating April 27th, 2018. Both have lived in Ellensburg all their lifes and have known eachother since 3rd grade. In fact, Tyler had a crush on Zitlalli in 6th grade, and Zitlalli had a crush on Tyler in 8th grade... but neither of them were brave enough to tell the other. It wasn't until junior year of high school that they started to get to know each other better, and spend quality time with each other, that things really kicked off.

After dating for a year and a half, they decided to do long distance as they were both going to attend different colleges. Zitlalli stayed in Ellensburg to get her degree at CWU and Tyler moved to Tri Cities to play baseball and further his education at CBC. For two years they did long distance and alternated every weekend on who would do the 2 hour drive to see the other.

After Tyler received his AA from CBC, he moved back to Ellensburg and they moved in together. On August 7th, 2023, Tyler finally popped the question and asked Zitlalli to marry him after 5 years of dating. Zitlalli obviously said yes and started planning right away. They are beyond excited to be able to celebrate their love with the people they love the most and are looking forward to seeing where life takes them.
