We come from two completely different worlds, but somehow have so much in common.

Mack comes from the Last Frontier, while Tyler comes from the Golden State.

Mack is in the Coast Guard, while Tyler is in the Marine Corps. Mack's always worn XtraTuffs, while Tyler's always worn Vans. Mack comes from the Snow, while Tyler comes from Sunny and 75.

We met on the first day of flight school when the quiet Coastie in the class (Mack) forgot to pass the sign in roster to the loud guy in the back (Tyler). We later started planning a first date after we matched on a dating app. We both share a sense of adventure, and because Florida was relatively new to us when we met, we had a lot to explore together. There was no better place for us to meet then in Pensacola.

For our first date we planned brunch at The Ruby Slipper. It soon evolved into lunch, and then beers at Pensacola Bay Brewery. We both immediately couldn't get enough of each other (and everyone that knows Tyler knows how he loves to TALK).

Tyler popped the question a year and a half later while we were exploring the beautiful beaches in Seaside, Florida on a wonderfully rainy day. Tyler's plans for a fancy dinner were ruined by Mack requesting a grilled cheese from a local food truck and a cute record store calling our name.

We currently live in Milton, Florida with our two cute and wild dogs named Ralphie and Stevie. Mack is in Naval Helicopter Training at Whiting Field. Tyler was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and is working for the Marine Corps at NAS Pensacola.

We are both really excited to be sharing this big moment in our lifelong adventure with you all!
