Our Wedding

Our love journey in my eyes started before we really met. I knew of Allison through friends and always had a crush on her. Throughout high school our paths would intertwine in many different ways but I would never make a move or the time just never felt right. Then Senior year we finally got closer in my eyes but what really happened is I stole the seat that was in front of her. Just so I could be the class clown in front of the prettiest girl in the school. I worked my magic making myself look like a fool every day. Finally I got the idea to ask her to the senior prom. When she said yes I couldnt have been more excited. We went to prom and I helped her win prom Queen because I was going to be prom King of course. Then over the summer after high school our relationship started to flourish. We started to go to the same college and it just felt right. I always wanted her to be around and in my life. I started to notice that she made me a better man and my life wouldn’t be the same if she would have left. We became very close and connected to each other. I started to think that this girl has to be the one, I just had that feeling deep inside. I took my time making sure that I would ask her in a way that she either couldn’t say no or that she would remember for a lifetime. The most nervous I have ever been was walking down the apple orchard with the ring in my pocket. Couldn’t remember the words that I repeated in the mirror at least a hundred times. As I started to talk it just felt like my heart took over. I don’t think this experience would be the same with someone else. I couldn’t imagine not having her around and I don’t think i would be the man I am today if it wasn’t for her.

Tyler’s POV

Tyler and I officially met in the 6th grade. Throughout school we always knew each other but never actually had any classes together until senior year of high school. During the 2nd half of senior year we started talking more in class which led to talking and texting outside of class. I knew I liked being around him so I *may have* talked Aleah (my twin) into seeing if he was interested in asking me to prom. Apparently he was, so we went to prom together and after that we were inseparable. Our relationship didn’t initially make sense with timing of graduation and college. I was asked multiple times “what are you both thinking? Terrible timing” and honestly I had no clue, all I knew is I was happy. During the first couple of years of college Tyler was my rock, I really struggled with the transition and he supported me through everything. The poor guy helped me through endless breakdowns, stressful classes, and just general college life. He became an unwavering constant in my life, and I am so thankful for that. More and more I realized that I just couldn’t see my life without him, he brings so much joy and laughter to my life and everyone else around him. Even when things got tough or chaotic, we never wavered, we just worked through it together and learned from it. This was an aspect of our relationship that really showed me that we were in it for the long haul. The past 2 years we have worked opposite schedules and my favorite part of the day, everyday, was for him to get home. When Tyler asked me to marry him it was the easiest decision. I love our life that we have built and I’m so excited to continue building it. Being a fiancé has been so much fun, but I can’t wait to officially be Tyler’s wife. <3
