Tyler and Jenna met through a mutual friend, someone Tyler went to college with, and Jenna worked with at Crossings. From the very beginning, there was an undeniable connection. Tyler had shared his interest in Jenna early on, but it took almost eleven months before he finally reached out on December 7, 2024. What felt like perfect timing quickly turned into something special.

Two weeks later, on December 21, they went on their first date in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The day was simple and sweet: coffee at Spencer’s, a walk around WKU’s campus, and lunch at Griff’s. Though both were nervous at first, those nerves quickly disappeared as they laughed easily and felt completely comfortable together. They spent time talking about their lives, their values, and what dating long distance would look like. Even with the distance, both felt excited and confident that what they were building was worth it.

About a month later, Tyler traveled to Bardstown to visit Jenna’s hometown, where he met her family and spent the weekend getting to know all of those who loved her most. On Saturday, January 18, Tyler asked Jenna to be his girlfriend. Just two weeks after that, Jenna made the trip to McKenzie to meet Tyler’s family and friends. She was welcomed with open arms, sharing coffee dates, dinners, and a game night full of laughter that made her feel right at home.

Over the next nine months, Tyler and Jenna grew together through long drives, phone calls, shared faith, and constant support for one another. They learned how to love each other intentionally, celebrate the little moments, and stand by each other through distance and busy seasons. With full hearts and complete certainty that they were meant to spend their lives together, Tyler proposed to Jenna on October 11, 2025, in Bardstown, Kentucky. They are now joyfully planning their future and cannot wait to be married on June 20, 2026, surrounded by the people they love most.
