Tyler and Jack met during their first weekend at Benedictine University, attending the same party for a big boxing match. Tyler attended the party with her high school friend and a couple people she had met during Orientation week. Since this was a baseball party, Jack was there as well, and Tyler saw Jack sitting in the opposite corner of the room. She was instantly interested and told her friend that she wanted to meet that guy. Unfortunately, Jack didn’t leave a good first impression because he kept calling her “Taylor” and was “too loud”, but he instantly liked her. Their first date was at TopGolf, where Tyler beat Jack by almost 70 points. They continued doing things on campus together and Tyler even got Jack a cake for his birthday to celebrate. Soon after that, Jack worked up the courage to officially ask Tyler to be his girlfriend, leading Tyler to wake her roommate up to tell her the news. That’s where the journey of Tyler and Jack began, which has led to this moment of their engagement. While Jack played baseball in college, Tyler supported him as his #1 fan and even became his personal photographer while he played. She even made him a scrapbook of his baseball photos that she had taken. Tyler and Jack love to travel together, and even went on their first international vacation together in Cancún, Mexico in 2023. They also enjoy watching movies, especially since Tyler has not watched many of them and Jack quotes movies all the time. The two of them love to golf, where Jack keeps his score by strokes and Tyler keeps her score by drawing happy or sad faces to indicate how she felt about the hole. Their favorite food to get together is Sushi, and they never turn down an opportunity for coffee. After over 7 years together, their last date as a couple was Topgolf (Tyler let Jack win that time). Jack proposed to Tyler on December 28th, 2024, and now they begin a new journey together as fiancés. They are excited to begin this next chapter in their lives and to share it with family and friends!

What is the date and time of the wedding?

﻿The ceremony will begin at 5:30 P.M on May 15.

Where is the ceremony/reception taking place?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Mistwood Golf Club (1700 W Renwick Rd, Romeoville, IL 60446). The ceremony will take place in the courtyard and the party will continue in the Great Hall.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Yes

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 20–30 minutes early, to allow enough time to park,find your seats, and settle in.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors, if there happens to be a chance of rain everything will be moved indoors.

Is there parking available?

Yes there is plenty of parking at the venue. Handicap parking is also available.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Are there hotels nearby?

Will there be an open bar?
