If you are traveling from outside of the Bay Area, there are two options for flying in. The great news is once you get to the Lodge at Bodega Bay, all wedding events are on premise at the hotel so you won't need to drive anywhere. Option 1: You can fly into SFO. From there you can rent a car or take an Uber. The drive to the Lodge at Bodega Bay is about 2 hour drive up the coast . The most direct route takes you up Highway 101. As another option, Highway 1 offers a scenic route with options to stop along the way in beautiful and fun places like Point Reyes or Hog Island Oyster Co. Option 2: Fly into the Sonoma County Airport (STS). This is a much smaller airport but is a 40 minute drive to the Lodge at Bodega Bay. There are non-stop flights to this airport from LAX, Burbank, Las Vegas, San Diego, Seattle, and probably more. From this airport you can Uber or rent a car.

While we love your kids and furry friends, we will be having an adult and pet-free wedding. We will be missing Ginger too! We appreciate you understanding.

The wedding day will be Formal Garden Attire (suits for men and floor/midi dresses for women). Please note that Bodega Bay can get foggy and a bit chilly so bring a sweater or pashmina for the outdoor ceremony! The ceremony will also be on grass so we recommend block heels. The reception will be tented with heaters.

If you'd like to come up on Thursday night then you should be able to call the hotel and book your room for Thursday using our discounted rate. If you have any issues please let us know and we'll speak with the hotel to block off a room for you. If you would like to join us Thursday night for dinner - we will be organizing a very casual dinner for anyone in town. Let us know if you'd like to join!
