Connor and I met for the first time in July of 2017. I went over to his cousin Aaron's house with my best friend Ashley, in hopes to be the best wing woman for her, (it worked, they're married now!) I will never forget the first time I saw Connor standing in the kitchen wearing his favorite Ryder Cup golf polo followed with a case of beer in hand. For anyone who knows him well, this is his signature look. The night carried on with innocent flirting and hours of conversation. A week or so later, we were reunited again at Aaron's house for Ashley's birthday party. That night was basically a repeat from the first time I met him, except for the fact that a few weeks had passed and I was unable to shake the thoughts of Connor. Ashley encouraged me to reach out to him, but I was hesitant because even though we had an unimaginable amount of chemistry, I thought he was way out of my league. Ashley ended up talking me into making a move, and shortly after Connor had planned a casual date of drinks and a few games of pool. After that night with Connor, I knew I had just met the love of my life. Even after that magical night and the undeniable feelings, we agreed on just staying good friends because we didn't think the timing was quite right. Regardless of how hard we fought against it, fate got in the way and we were head over heels in love after just a few short weeks. I still say to this day I would have married Connor the night of our first date if he would have asked me. I am excited beyond words to have him forever as my husband, best friend, happy hour date, and fellow 90's music fanatic. Thank you so much for taking the time for reading our story, and I hope to see you at the wedding!
Tylor and I’s love story started in the summer of 2017 at my cousin Aaron’s pool party. Immediately after being introduced to Tylor I asked Aaron to tell me everything he knew about her. I knew two things right then, one, this girl was so far out of my league and two, I needed to find a way to talk to to her. Luckily for me the liquid confidence had set in and I just so happen to have needed to go into the kitchen the same time she did. I remember nervously saying she could have any of the drinks I brought if she wanted. It must’ve worked because we continued to talk and flirt off and on throughout the night. Of course I was way too nervous to ask for her number at the end of the night. But fate gave me another opportunity a week later at Aaron’s now wife and Tylor’s best friend Ashley’s birthday party. Although the night played out similarly as last time with long conversations and innocent flirting I once again I didn’t ask for her number like an idiot. I lucked out yet again and unbeknownst to me at the time, but Ashley pushes for Tylor to get in touch with me for a date and some drinks! That night I knew I had met the love of my life. Words can’t do justice for the way she looked that night, but her red striped dress, ice white converses, and those gorgeous brown eyes made me weak that night! As perfect as that night went, we both decided to just stay good friends because we both weren’t ready for a serious relationship. As I’m sure a lot of you know when it’s right, it’s right. We couldn’t avoid what fate and our love story had in store for us. So, on June 20th of this year as I blacked out and struggled to even ask the question I looked up to see a ring on her finger, complete joy and happy tears ensued knowing I get to marry my best friend.
