Nico and Valeria’s journey began on a Saturday morning, February 19th, 2022, when they crossed paths at a local workout class. Nico noticed Valeria right away. Her smile caught his attention, and he thought she was cute. Curious to get to know her, he made the first move after the workout class and the two began to chat.   Their conversations quickly turned into text messages, which eventually led to long phone calls. Nico then asked Valeria out on a date; however, she turned him down the first time, and the second, and the third. Despite the multiple rejections, Nico didn’t give up, and he continued to be patient, kind, and persistent.   Eventually, the persistence paid off and Valeria decided to give him a chance, opening her heart to the possibility of something more. In April, they finally went on their first official date. Nico swept Valeria off her feet with flowers, kindness, support, and unconditional love. With every conversation, every shared moment, Valeria felt herself falling deeper for him. As time went on, Nico won her heart completely, and Valeria knew, without a doubt, that Nico was the one. She was the first to say those three magical words, knowing deep down, that they were meant to be. Nico had known all along, from the moment they met, that she was the one for him. From that moment, their bond only grew stronger, proving that love can blossom in the most unexpected places and at just the right time.   On March 9th, 2024, Nico planned the most wonderful proposal, filled with love and thoughtfulness. As the sun set over the horizon,mariachi band played their favorite songs. Surrounded by family, friends, music love, and a beautiful sunset, Nico asked Valeria to spend forever with him. Together, they continue to write their story, each chapter more beautiful than the last.   They know that their love was always meant to be, and they pray every day for a future full of happiness, faith, and love, knowing that their journey together has only just begun.

What should I wear?Our wedding will be a&nbsp;formal affair&nbsp;set in a beautiful&nbsp;outdoor setting, so we kindly ask all guests to dress elegantly while keeping the outdoor environment in mind.Women:&nbsp;Keep the look formal but airy with lighter fabrics and elegant, breathable designs. A&nbsp;full-length gown&nbsp;is perfect for the occasion. For footwear, we recommend&nbsp;chunky heels&nbsp;to ensure comfort while walking on grass. Please avoid&nbsp;white, ivory, dark blue, or light colors close to white. Men:&nbsp;Stick to formal wear. Consider choosing lighter fabrics to stay cool while maintaining a polished appearance. We kindly ask that you avoid&nbsp;dark/navy blue and sand (khaki) suits, as our groomsmen will be wearing&nbsp;navy and the groom will be wearing a sand color. Weather Consideration:&nbsp;The ceremony will be outdoors, with daytime temperatures expected in the&nbsp;80s&nbsp;and nighttime cooling to the&nbsp;low 70s. Please dress accordingly for your comfort. (Weather conditions may change, so we recommend checking the forecast closer to the date.) How far is Lago Coatepeque from the airport?Lago Coatepeque is approximately two hours from the airport, depending on traffic conditions. What should I do while I'm there?For a list of activities and attractions to explore before or after the wedding, please visit the Things to Do section on our website. Am I allowed additional guests?All invited guests will be able to RSVP through our website. Are kids welcome?Please note that, while we deeply value and cherish children, we respectfully ask that this celebration be an adults-only affair. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and hope you enjoy this special day with us. What will the weather be like?In May, the average daytime temperature at Lago Coatepeque is around 89°F, while nighttime temperatures drop to about 70°F. However, temperatures can fluctuate. Will the ceremony be held inside or outside?The ceremony will take place outdoors at Hotel Cardeu’s charming chapel. We will be saying our vows in front of our loved ones, with the beautiful sunset as our backdrop. The reception will also be held at Cardeu, ensuring a picturesque and memorable celebration. What is the Currency?Dollars. Major credit cards taken. Will there be a hotel room block?Yes, we have arranged a room block for guests. Santa Ana Volcano Trailhead

Volcan De Santa Ana , El Salvador If you enjoy being active and exploring nature, this is the hike for you. At 7,812 ft above sea level, it is the highest volcano in the country.Keep in mind it is an hour and 30 mins from Lago de Coatepeque.

Surf City

Arriving Early or Staying Longer?We recommend if you are planning to stay longer to explore the beauty of Surf City. The closest beaches to the lake are about two hours away, but the beaches near the airport are just 30-45 minutes away. You can visit Mizata, El Zonte, El Tunco, El Majahual, San Blas, and La Libertad, each offering its own unique vibe and experience.For accommodation, there are a variety of beach house options. We recommend checking out Nawi and Palo Verde, which offers a day pass option. However, we don’t recommend doing a day trip on our wedding day. There are plenty of other great places to stay along the coast, depending on your preferences.
