In 2015 Jack and Valeria met at a high school party hosted by a mutual friend their senior year. Nothing immediate came of the relationship, but it was clear there was a spark! Months went by and they reconnected at the University of Kentucky. It didn’t take long for these two to find their way back to one another and become best of friends. A few game days, study dates, and many Fraternity events later, these two were inseparable. The couple became an official pair in 2016 after they concluded their first year of college and the rest is history! Post-graduation came with its challenges of long distance and a world wide pandemic, but the love they shared persevered through ups and downs. Once settled with their careers and mutual goals, they felt confident in taking that next level of commitment together.

Coming up on summer of 2023, after months of hiding the engagement ring, Jack pulled off the surprise of a lifetime and proposed to Valeria on a beautiful trip to Madrid, Spain! She had no idea he had the ring strapped to his waist the entire time, and her parents were in on the secret! While they have shared many memories in their hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, the couple has chosen to celebrate this next chapter in Puerto Rico, where Valeria was born! The venue is a beautiful hacienda with lots of plant life and natural beauty. It is located at the heart of a horse training facility and carries reminders of their Kentucky home.
