How do I get to the wedding venue?
We recommend staying at a hotel within the resort area near the Amsterdam Manor. A list of nearby hotels will be provided in the travel section of the website. If you plan to remain in the resort area, there are plenty of taxies available. Uber, Lyft and other ride share companies do NOT operate in Aruba. There are a number of hotels within walking distance. The ceremony will be held on the beach directly across the street from the Amsterdam Manor.
Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?
If your invitation states it is for you and Guest, then we have allotted a spot for you and a plus one. Please refrain from bringing a guest if your invitation was addressed only to you. We have very limited space at this venue.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Dinner will be a Caribbean Buffet! There will be a cold station with a variety of salads. Entrees will include chicken, pork, red snapper and beef tenderloin. There will be vegetables and rice for sides. There will also be a dessert station in addition to the wedding cake.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes. There will be an open bar. Legal drinking age in Aruba is 18. During cocktail hour, there will be beverage servers taking your drink order so as not to crowd the bar area.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Absolutely! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us. We will have disposable cameras available for guests to snap photos and then drop the cameras off in a designated bin on your way out! We can't wait to get them developed and see what fun moments you captured for us.
Should I bring a gift?
A gift is not necessary. You being able to join us is a wonderful gift! Traveling with a gift can be difficult as well. We do have a small registry posted in the registry section of our website if you wish to purchase a gift. We also have a Honeyfund set up if you wish to give a monetary gift.
