Take a trip to downtown Detroit where you can spend the day ice-skating at Campus Martius Park and then grab a drink or a bite to eat at one of the many trendy restaurants nearby (personally, we love Townhouse!)

Spend the day getting lost in the beautiful artwork housed in the Detroit Institute of Arts.

In the event you forgot anything (or if you just feel like treating yourself), head over to the Somerset Collection mall!

Downtown Birmingham is just a short trip down the street from the Kingsley Hotel. It is a cute area where you can find clothing boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, a movie theatre, and more.
