Q & A

Wakefield is in Quebec, Don't speak French? No problem!

Wakefield is a Bilingual town. Due to the large amount of tourists from Ontario, there is no problem being served in English in the area.

When should we arrive in Wakefield?

If you want to make it a mini-vacation, Wakefield is a beautiful destination. You could come 1 or 2 days early to enjoy the stunning scenery and all the adventures it has to offer. You can consult the ''Places to Stay'' and the ''Things to do'' section for ideas. If not, we look forward to seeing you on our wedding day!

Can I bring my children?

Unfortunately, as much as we would want your little ones to be involved in our big day, only the children in the bridal party are invited.

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation indicates that you have a plus one, you can rsvp for them.

What should I wear?

The attire we recommend is formal. We prefer fall colors, and jewel colors, but not limited to those. please remember to dress according to the weather, a nice jacket would be recommended :)

Will there be an open bar?

We will not be hosting an open bar at the reception. We will offer Champagne at the cocktail hour, and wine at the dinner. For the dance, you may use the cash bar at the venue.

What about gifts?

There is nothing more precious than the honour of your presence and your prayers. However, if you desire to give something, a monetary gift would be preferred. *Please keep in mind our incapacity to transport gifts back up North where we live. * If you want to contribute to our honeymoon fund or first-home fund, we invite you to e-transfer your amount to the following email address: zachandvalwedding@gmail.com Thank you for your generosity in helping us start our life together!
