Camp crush 2022. Val and Daniel were counselors at a summer camp for a high school Bible study called "The Pack." This is where Daniel learned Val was single.

Daniel mustered up the courage to ask Val on a date in September 2022. Knocked 3 times on her door. No answer. Not home. Dejected and despondent, Daniel gave up on love all together. Thankfully Val kept texting him and said yes to a date literally a few days later. On that date Daniel made 5 hole in ones playing putt putt. It has nothing to do with this but it is bad ass. ....This is their first picture together as a dating couple!

Val took Daniel to Lexington, KY where she went to high school. One of the happiest days of Daniel's life. They watched semi-pro baseball and drank peach flavored bourbon. Perfect day!
