Graduates from West Wilkes High School the two were destined to be together. Many of their friends insinuated they would be a cute couple, but it never happened. At least not in high school. Jake graduated 2019 and Valerie just one year after in 2020. Jake and Valerie were friends all throughout high school, you could frequently catch them chatting on the football field during games. Naturally, the two of them went their separate ways after graduation and lost touch. Jake went to Appalachian State University and Valerie began attending Wilkes Community College. The two of them were reunited in the Summer of 2020 at Walmart of all places little did Jake know he would be seeing her more often. Their friendship was rekindled, and they began talking after that. Valerie would go by Walmart and say hello any day that he was working, and of course he thought it was just a coincidence.

From there the rest is history.... The two became inseparable. Four years later and they've attended some of their biggest milestones together, and now the two Best Friends are becoming Husband and Wife.
