Jack-Thomas & I met our first semester of college in a public speaking class. I asked one of my sorority sisters to scheme up & find Jack-Thomas' number for me. Of course, once I had his number, I was too nervous to text him, so my friends drafted up a text to invite him to our sorority formal. Unfortunately, Jack-Thomas replied by saying he was already busy attending another sorority's formal the same night.

Fast forward to our spring semester, Jack-Thomas & I occasionally texted keeping up with each other. He ended up inviting me to his fraternity's date party, BUT, funny enough, got us kicked out for underage drinking with an "X" on his hand. Oops!

I decided to give Jack-Thomas another chance and invite him to my date party shortly after. Thankfully, this time around went a lot better for the two of us! The rest of college was a lot of on & off hanging out, but if you know you know, we never officially ended up dating. Womp womp :(

Fast forward a couple of years, Jack-Thomas & I are both in graduate school & single! I reached out to Jack-Thomas & he asked me out on an official date. Everything was going great until Jack-Thomas dropped the bomb that he was moving to Texas!! We both knew that we had waited a long time to finally date, so we both agreed to try long distance for the first time.

We dated long distance for what felt like forever until I graduated from PT school. We traveled back & forth making trips to Fort Worth, Chattanooga, and even Bristol, TN (yikes)!

Once I finished PT school, I packed up with Thor & moved to Fort Worth, TX to start my life with Jack-Thomas.

We are very much in the wedding phase of life, and I was patiently waiting my turn to be the bride while attending wedding after wedding for our friends and family.

The exciting day finally came when Jack-Thomas convinced me that we were going to celebrate our friend's engagement at the Stockyards, but in reality, it was my own surprise engagement!

You can see my genuine shock here when we got home and our close family & friends were there to surprise me! I didn't think Jack-Thomas had it in him!

Now we are both anxiously awaiting October 25 to be able to celebrate the most special and sacred day between the two of us. We hope you'll all be able to join us because we wouldn't be here without you all!
