After navigating countless bureaucratic hurdles, we’ve come to realise that getting married in Germany, as two foreigners, would be a logistical nightmare. So, instead of stressing over paperwork, we’ve decided to elope to one of the easiest countries to get married in Europe! 😉 By the time we celebrate with you, we'll already be married and ready to fully enjoy the day—chatting, taking a stroll, exploring the beautiful surroundings, capturing some photographs, perhaps playing a round of table tennis, and hopefully sharing a little bit of Slovenian and Algerian culture with you. Stay tuned—there's plenty to look forward to!

We’d love for you to dress up! Bring out your Sunday/Jumu'ah best 😁 Traditional attire is more than welcome—no matter where you're from. Feel free to be as colourful or as classic as you like! Please note that we are going to be mostly staying outside, so bring a light coat if you get cold easily. Consider wearing flatter/platform heel shoes or at the very least, no super high stilettos that could get stuck - we do not want any sprained ankles, so comfort first! As mentioned under Location tab, the garden will also have some activities you can enjoy, so if you want to feel extra comfy, feel free to bring more smart casual clothing with you - especially for the brave ones who want to go crazy on the trampoline. In the case of light rain, we will put up pavilions for cover. In the case of very heavy rain, we will move the celebration indoors, but we are hoping and praying that will not be needed.

We're keeping things pretty relaxed, with the only fixed time being lunch. We hope you'll enjoy the surroundings and great company and stick around until the evening. But fair warning—we’ll have to wrap things up by 9 PM at the latest!

Berlin is known for its housing shortage - but luckily you are only staying for a short time 😉 Hopefully, next time, when we invite you to our 10th wedding anniversary, we will be able to host you all, who knows where that will be! 🌎 But in the meantime... You can find a few accommodation options that you can book under the Where to stay? tab. We tried to find the ones not too far away from the venue, in a calmer area. But of course, feel free to find something that suits you better! If you are booking through booking.com and do not have a Genious discount, please contact us!

We will have a photographer come between 3-6 pm to take some photos. If you are not comfortable with photos being taken, please let us know. We will only share photos of us and you on the photos, we will not share your family's photos with other guests you do not know. Feel free to use the opportunity for a family portrait though :)
