Mitch & I met August 29, 2015. We did not know each other at all but he asked to buy me a drink & I am so happy I accepted. I don’t think either of us was going out to find someone to date but that’s exactly what happened. We immediately clicked and went on a few dates then became official September 12, 2015. We have pretty much been inseparable since. Years have gone by with plenty of love and fun. My family goes to Virginia Beach for a family reunion every three years. Mitch has joined us at the reunion two times. This last reunion was in July. We got to Virginia on Friday night and went to the reunion on Saturday. Our third day down there Mitch & I went to a fishing spot. My sisters and nephews joined us, then shortly after my dad came down. Some catfish were caught and Mitch had a talk with my dad. I was wondering what they were talking about. We had dinner plans set with my uncle and cousins later on that night . I was lured to the beach to take pictures “since we didn’t get any at the reunion “. Before I knew it Mitch got down one knee and asked if I will walk the beach with him forever. I was in shock and didn’t answer immediately but of course I said YES! We got engaged July 24,2022 the whole day was so magical.
