Vanessa and Dimitri first met at their church as children. Fast forward to May 2019, Vanessa and Dimitri were reintroduced at a friend’s graduation party.

In the months to follow, the couple messaged back and forth casually. Dimitri gathered the courage to ask Vanessa out not once, not twice, but three times before she accepted.

On June 27, 2020, the couple went on their first date to the restaurant Salt. They quickly hit it off and saw each other almost every weekend that followed.

In October 2020, the couple took their first trip together to Boston, Massachusetts. They explored the city and stumbled upon a beautiful museum, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. They were both enamored by the breathtaking courtyard at the heart of the museum.

In February 2023, the couple returned to Boston for a long weekend. Little did Vanessa know, Dimitri had a surprise planned. On February 16, 2023, Dimitri proposed to Vanessa at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in front of the courtyard.
