It all started in the spring of 2018, when a simple Snapchat story brought us back together in the most unexpected way.

Jason and Vanessa’s paths had crossed before, back in middle school. Though they were in different circles and had their own groups of friends, fate had a funny way of bringing them into each other’s lives again years later. After some time apart, they found themselves reconnecting at the same gym. However, their gym routine didn’t last long—cough cough, Vanessa—let's just say, one of them might have complained a bit too much about the workouts!

But fate wasn’t done yet. A few months later, Jason reached out to Vanessa, asking for hiking recommendations. At the time, Vanessa was an avid hiker, and as luck would have it, she was planning a hike the very next day. Without missing a beat, she invited him to join her. March 18th, 2018—the day they set off on that hike—turned out to be the beginning of their beautiful journey together.

As time passed, their bond grew. They went on countless adventures, trying new foods, camping under the stars, exploring new places, and celebrating each milestone with laughter and love. Every moment was an opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy the beauty of life with one another.

Family has always been an essential part of their story, and both of their families welcomed each other with open arms. They also grew their family in the most delightful way—by adopting two dachshunds, Slinky and Coco, who are truly spoiled and beloved. While they may not be children, these two little furballs are as much a part of their world as anything else.

As we prepare for this next chapter in our lives, we are overwhelmed with excitement and joy. Our wedding day is not just a celebration of the love we share, but also a testament to the journey we've walked together—with each other and with God by our side. We are so grateful for the amazing family and friends who have been with us every step of the way, supporting and encouraging us.

We can't wait to celebrate this special day with all of you, our loved ones, who have made this journey even more meaningful. Your presence at our wedding means the world to us, and we are thrilled to make new memories with you as we say, "I do," and begin our happily ever after.
