Vanessa & Mike first met after Vanessa moved & started at Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, IL. The two started dating soon after on 02.15.2014. They dated on & off until 2017.

2020

Vanessa & Mike reconnected and after a couple months of friendship, they decided to officially start dating again on 9.15.2020. At the time, Mike was living in Wisconsin & Vanessa lived in Florida. For Christmas, Mike gave Vanessa a promise ring and the two planned to move in together a couple months later.

2021

In February 2021, Mike moved down to Florida where they owned a home together with their dog, Roxy; cat, Frankie & bearded dragons, Syd & Raptor. A few months later, the couple learned they were expecting a baby girl.

2022

In February 2022 while on their babymoon trip, Mike proposed on the beach in South Beach, Miami. Mike said in his proposal that he wanted to get married before their daughter arrived “on any random Tuesday” saying, “it doesn’t matter when, I just want to marry you”. So, on Tuesday, February 15th, they got married on the same date they started dating back in high school, 8 years prior. The two had a very small ceremony and planned to have a formal reception the following year. They then welcomed their daughter Payton in March 2022.

2027

After Hurricane Ian destroyed their home in September 2022, the couple decided to postpone their formal reception so they could rebuild their life. Shortly after, the couple learned they were expecting a baby boy. In May 2023, they welcomed their son, Cameron into the world. Now finally, after 2 babies, a new home and 5 years of marriage- Vanessa & Mike are finally able to celebrate their marriage formally with their friends and family! They cannot wait to renew their vows & share their long anticipated big day with you!
