It all started with the old man from eHarmony. Anthony and I matched in July of 2014, but I was reluctant to meet him at first. 6 months later on 12/13/14 we had our very first date at J. Alexanders. After several dates, we both realized that we wanted to make it official. In April of 2015 we began dating. Throughout our four years together, we have done so much with one another. We have been too A LOT OF WEDDINGS, traveled together, moved in together, but most importantly we became best friends and fell in love, and knew we wanted to spend forever with one another.

On the morning of Sunday August 12, 2018, Anthony and I had our typical Sunday errands to run. Grocery store, teacher store (school was starting the next day), meal prep, etc. Before we left the house, Anthony wanted to give me my "Back to School Box" one day early. Every year that we have been dating, Anthony makes a "Back to School Box" for me and fills it with all the things that I love. He leaves it for me for when I wake up as a good luck to a start of another school year. However, this year, he wanted to see me open the box. Inside the box was another box. When I opened that box, I saw what I had been waiting for! I immediately shut the box and said "What is that?" and began to burst out crying. At the top of the box, he asked me to "Marry Him" and I said "YES!" We spent the rest of that day celebrating with our families and eating lunch at J. Alexander's as a tribute to our first date!

We are beyond EXCITED to be celebrating this day with our family and friends and we can't wait to finally be Husband and Wife!
