Where can I stay?
Guests will be assigned to a cabin at Camp Mataponi by us, Andrew and Vanessa. If you would like to request bunking up with certain people, please text Vanessa. Guests may have their own room, but will likely share a cabin and a bathroom (Jack and Jill style). Families of three or more will have their own cabins. All cabins have electricity, a shower, and a toilet. There are no refrigerators, heating, or cooling units in the cabins. Feel free to bring a fan.
Will I be put in a cabin with someone I don't know?
You will not be put in a cabin with a stranger. The property is large and has many cabins for guests to be placed. We will do our best to coordinate sleeping arrangements to give you the most privacy possible for you and/or your family. If there are any concerns please don't hesitate to reach out!
How much is it to reserve a cabin?
Andrew and I appreciate you traveling for our wedding and therefore will be covering the cost of the cabins for the weekend!
Do I have to stay at camp?
While we would love for you to stay on site and enjoy the weekend together, guest are not required to stay in the cabins. Please see the accommodations page for alternative lodging.
Can I bring a date?
If specified on your invitation, you may bring a date. If your invitation is just for you, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate an extra guest!
Are kids welcome?
We encourage you to use this as a getaway for yourself if you can, however, this is a weekend long event and your kids are welcome at camp. We would rather have all of you there all weekend than just the one night you could get a sitter. If you decide to bring the kids, we ask that you please keep a close eye on them!
Do I need to bring my own food and alcohol?
Meals will be provided, but snacks are on you! It doesn't hurt to bring your favorite munchies. Beer and wine will be provided at the welcome dinner. On the wedding day, guests will be able to enjoy an open bar during the dinner and reception as well. Outside of those times, Camp Mataponi is BYOB. Please be responsible and respectful to camp staff.
