Venue doors open for seating at 3:30 PM EST.The ceremony will be officiated by Christian Presley on the dock of the venue along Lake Royer. Parking is available in front of the venue.

Cocktail Hour

Saturday April 18th, 2026 4:45 - 5:45 PM EST

Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served inside the venue between 5:00 - 6:30 PM.

Reception Dinner

Saturday April 18th, 2026 6:15 - 7:15PM EST

Join us after Cocktail Hour for dinner, dancing, drinks, and of course cake. We are offering an open bar with a variety of wine and soft drinks chosen by the Bride and Groom.

Dinner will be offered in a buffet service.

Schedule of Events

Vanessa and Parker’s story began at the painting studio where Vanessa worked, when Parker walked in one day and asked for her number. That moment sparked conversations that just clicked.Their first date was an axe-throwing adventure in Historic Ellicott City, full of playful competition and just the right amount of chaos. For their second date, Parker invited Vanessa over to cook dinner and bake together. Vanessa decided to bake her favorite matcha brownies, but she accidentally swapped a teaspoon of salt for a tablespoon. The result? A pan of salty matcha brownie cornbread. It wasn’t exactly edible, but it was unforgettable. Parker was a trooper and tried to make it not a big deal, and even ate half a "brownie."Over the next two years, they shared adventures big and small, from concerts, trying new restaurants, road trips, and plenty of cozy nights in. Every memory stitched them closer together.In May of 2025, they traveled to Toronto, Niagara Falls, and New York City. On the night of May 21st, after dinner overlooking the Falls, Parker asked Vanessa to marry him. With the roar of the water below and a view that felt like magic, she said yes—and the rest is their forever.

Serene Mountain Top Cozy Retreat

If you’re flying in from out of state, the best option is Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI), which offers nonstop flights from many cities (including Salt Lake City) and is about a 1.5 hour drive to Fort Ritchie, MD. We recommend renting a car at the airport since the venue is in a rural mountain area with limited public transit, and rideshares can be expensive for the distance.
