Vanessa and Khy’a love story began in 2016 as they both worked as Dialysis Technicians. While it was not love at first site, there was an initial attraction but they remained friends. Eventually they developed a strong relationship that carried Khy through his medical school journey. Who knew goals would bond these two for forever!

Sparks really flew during Vanessa’s break while attending a post bachelor’s program. You see, Khy was located in Chicago, IL while Vanessa was located in Carbondale,IL. Both remained steadfast in completing their goal of one day working as a physician.
As their goals began to flourish, so did their love.
Khy is currently a physician and Vanessa is currently matriculating through medical school.

They truly believe that God called them together. So let’s celebrate what God has brought together.
