Vanessa and David spent most of 2021 exchanging awkward encounters at the school where David works. Vanessa would pick up the kids she was nannying, while David worked his afternoon duty at dismissal. After several Covid masked months of small talk, David upheld his end of a dare to ask for Vanessa's phone number.

The first few months was filled with overzealous plans that ultimately fell through, when finally the two got together on St. Patrick's Day to share an authentic Irish meal at a local Chili's.

Fast forward to 2024, Vanessa and David took a quick trip to Paris to meet her parents for a Rod Stewart concert. Little did they know, this would be the last trip they took before becoming an engaged couple. David got down on one knee and asked Vanessa to marry him in front of the Arc de Triomphe on July 1, 2024.

Vanessa and David could not be more thrilled for this next chapter of their life together to begin and are so excited to celebrate their true love with family and friends on June 22, 2025!

Fun Fact: Vanessa showed David a series of text messages she had sent to her friends where she mentioned her interest in him before she had ever even spoken to him for the first time.
