Ally is not only Vanessa's PIC at work, but also her best friend. She is that person that will always be there for you, no matter what. Her compassion, patience and resiliency is truly admired. Ally challenges you to be the best version of yourself. Whenever you need advice, big or small, Ally is your girl.

Taylor is a girl's girl (and a dog's girl). She is the person that introduced Vanessa into fostering and has a heart of gold. No matter who you are, she is your biggest fan. Taylor has that sweet, wholesome personality that draws you to her. She's saved over 40 dogs, and has no doubt helped just as many people with her charity. Taylor is funny, charming and REAL.

Ever met someone that you're like, finally, they get me? Are we the same person? Well that is Megan. Megan is more than a best friend, she is family. She is strong, determined, understanding, loyal. Megan loves you at your best and at your worst, a true ride-or-die friend. The best roommate, dog mom, soccer player, emo music lover.

Caroline is your biggest hype gal ever. She is witty, smart, kind, loving, loyal, free-spirited..the list goes on and on. There is simply never a dull moment with Carol. She makes the darkest days better with her honesty and humor. If you've been lucky to have a friend like Caroline, you have been blessed to know just how loved you are. Everyone needs a Carol in their life.

Emily is the friend that everyone wants to be friends with...and for good reason. She is kind, down to earth, genuine and loyal. She's the friend that has been there for all the boyfriends, breakups, glow-ups and life transitions. Even if life separates where you physically live, Emily's heart and friendship is always carried alongside you and never falters.

That one college friend who saw you for you, and accepted you 100%. Holly is the most real friend you can have. Never afraid to speak her mind, she will challenge you to think twice about your actions. She is also your biggest fan and ready to fight anyone for you. You never feel judged, alone or embarrassed with Holly by your side.

The friend that God brought into your life when you needed it most. A selfless woman who puts the needs of others before the needs of her own. A friend that wants and prays for you to succeed. A girl that does not shy away from her faith, and even though she's younger than you, is someone you look up to. Rachel is hands down one of the best individuals out there; truly a beautiful human being inside and out.

The sister-in-law you are SO lucky to have. The one that sees how crazy you are, but accepts you with open arms. Megan is forgiving, understanding, down to earth, funny, hard-working, and considered who she is married to, a saint ;) Having someone who is perfect for your brother just makes you adore them just as much. The Olson family is definitely complete with Megan added to the family.

Matt is a long time friend of the groom and has been there countless times through support, laughter, and care. When the groom decided to up and move his life and all he owned (not much at all), to Charlotte NC, Matt was in his car behind him all the way to help in this huge shift that became an incredible decision. He’s the type of friend that isn’t afraid to show his true self, call you out when it’s needed, and reflect together on how each person can be better. The groom is so happy to have him on his side for this amazing day.

Nick is the groom’s brother. Despite the age gap of 10 years, there is so much that these two relate with and love. Nick made an incredible impact on the groom during his childhood as an exemplary role model. As a marine, there were so many lessons the groom thinks back to, crediting his brother with. Not to say they didn’t have fun together either, as nick took him to his very first concerts, and was there to always support and love him through each major step in life. Now they sit back and grow excited to continue to experience the world together, plan trips, and share moments neither will forget.

How the groom and Kim met is an incredible story and far too lengthy to put here. So make sure you ask at the wedding! What’s easy to say is that Kim is one of the most compassionate persons the groom has ever crossed paths with. She believes, does, and says things that make you feel so valued and important, and that can be hard to find in people, even friends, sometimes. From the moment they “really” met.. the groom could tell he had a friend for life. The groom is truly honored to know her.

What’s so epic about finding Kim is he got two best friends for the price of one! Maddie and the groom have that brother sister relationship that is so fun and incredibly irritating all at once, thanks to the grooms greatly annoying antics. However, when these two get going, there is no stopping them. Whether it’s partying, dancing, or getting beat badly in a game by the groom, Maddie is the best partner/enemy. The groom hates they are in different states now but cherishes the moments they have together that much more because of it. He is so happy to have her by his side on this day and the rest of life.

Aaron and the groom met while he worked at Better mortgage. Though a fully remote job, they quickly grew as friends behind the screen through stupid and silly slack gifs and jokes. Aaron, being the affectuous person he is, invited the groom to meet up in the city and that was all they wrote. Fast forward to now and these two are peas in a pod. Always making each other laugh infectiously, and aren’t afraid to talk about things most guy friends stay far away from. These two come from different backgrounds and it’s so amazing how close they have gotten in so little time. The groom can’t wait to see what life has in store for them.

Mitchell and the groom met through Vanessa as he is a coworker at her company. What started as a simple introduction turned quickly into a close friendship. These two love spending time together and have often conversed all night into the morning about everything under the sun. Though all nighters are way in the past now cause gosh we’re getting old, the companionship stays strong. We relate in a ton of ways and both know how it feels to be wronged by friends or people. So to find solitude in each other and care as much as we can is something that we always do for each other. The groom is so happy to have Mitchell as a friend and now a golf buddy too!

Neil is the bride’s brother, but also quickly becoming not just family to the groom, but a dear friend as well. Having already taken several trips together, it’s clear how much fun they have together. The banter gets unruly, but boy they can go toe to toe so well. Well figuratively… cause he’s a giant. The groom is extremely excited to one day soon, call him his brother.

Erik is Vanessa’s oldest brother! He has always been so protective of his little sister. So the groom knowing he had his blessing was so important! A big fan of video games, him and the groom always make sure to get in some playing time when they come to visit. We’re so happy to have him be by our side on this special day.
