Sometimes love begins in the most unexpected places. For Vanessa and Joel, it all started at a small deli in New York, just two months after Vanessa had moved to the city. While ordering a bacon, egg, and cheese, she realized she didn’t have cash — and before she could even think of what to do, Joel kindly stepped in and paid for her meal.He asked for her Instagram that day but didn’t reach out right away. It wasn’t until a lighthearted comment about pineapple on pizza that the spark truly began. From that moment on, the two talked nonstop and quickly realized how naturally their connection came.Between the noise of city life and the demands of everyday routines, they found peace together in the quiet woods upstate — their favorite escape where time slowed down and everything felt right.Their bond only grew stronger as they supported each other through every milestone and challenge. When Vanessa graduated from PA school, they took the next big step — moving across the country to California to start their life together.What started as a small, unexpected moment became the beginning of a lifelong adventure side by side.
