Vanessa and Guillermo met in their Kindergarten class at Heber Elementary School. They were partners from the very beginning and always stayed by each others sides.

Fun Fact: Because of their last names (Reyes & Rodriguez) they sat next to each other for EVERY class they had together (Kinder, 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th grade)!!

Vanessa y Guillermo se conocieron en su clase de jardín de infantes en la escuela primaria Heber. Fueron socios desde el principio y siempre estuvieron uno al lado del otro.

Dato curioso: ¡¡Debido a sus apellidos (Reyes y Rodríguez) se sentaron uno al lado del otro en CADA clase que tenían juntos (Kindergarten, primer, cuarto, septimo, ​​octavo grado)!! (la foto es de su recital navideño de 1er grado)

Despite having several classes together, Vanessa and Guillermo officially became best friends in the 6th grade.

Vanessa and Guillermo graduated 8th grade together and that summer Vanessa moved away to Santa Maria, CA for 2 years. For the first time ever, they were going to different schools.

Fun Fact: While Vanessa was gone at Santa Maria, Guillermo kept in contact with her EVERY day.

For their Junior year of high school, Vanessa moved back to the Imperial Valley and two months after her return on October 31st, 2017 Guillermo officially asked Vanessa to be his girlfriend.

Vanessa and Guillermo Graduated high school together and that summer, Guillermo left to Flagstaff, AZ to attend Northern Arizona University

Fun Fact: During their senior year of high school, Vanessa and Guillermo were both a part of the Southwest Eagle Marching Band as bass drummers in the Eagle Drumline. They were also each others date to prom!

After a year of long distance, Vanessa transferred to Northern Arizona University with Guillermo where they both pursued degrees in education.

Fun Fact: Despite both studying education, Guillermos emphasis was in science and Vanessas was in math #CouplesInSTEM They were also both part of NAUs Lumberjack Marching Band and Drumline
