We are not setting up a traditional gift registry. We are both well established with household items, and will probably need to de-clutter as we integrate together under the same roof. We do, however, have a few bigger ticket items that are needs and/or dreams (ie. new-to-us vehicles) that we would like to invite you to contribute towards. This crowdfunding approach lets you give towards the significant things we really need as we start our lives together. We will honor your preference and keep the funds designated until the specific goals are reached. Updates will be sent via the internet of our journey!

We are aware that gifts are often bought to remind us of you. We will take a portion from each "fund" to commission a home decoration as a tangible reminder of you in our lives.

***Herrnhut, Germany, Jesus Haus Discipleship school Fall 2017***
As we begin married life, it is our hearts' desire to attend a 10 week prayer, worship, and discipleship intensive in Herrnhut, Germany. This is a special place and Vanessa's dear friends are leading the program. We want to set aside the first few months of our married life to center ourselves on the Lord away from the busy-ness of everyday life in the USA. Vanessa has been doing ministry work for the past 8 years and this would be like a sabbatical time for her. This would also equip Kenta for his current ministry in Whatcom County.

***Pickup truck fund so Vanessa can better serve in her role at Promise 23 Ranch Ministries and so that we can hobby together!***
We need a 3/4 ton truck to haul a horse trailer, hay, other horse supplies, and equipment to ride horses or boat together.

***New-to-Kenta/Road Trip Car***
"The Terminator" (est. 2004) is running on borrowed time and should soon be laid to rest before it ends up terminating itself in a blaze of glory. We need to replace it with a new-to-us vehicle that would be suitable for his height, road trips, boating hobbies, construction, and hauling musical equipment (wagon or small SUV).
