Do I have to pay for admission to the Boerner Botanical Gardens?
All of the guests' admission tickets are included with the reservation of the ceremony site. Therefore, guests will not have to pay any admission fees. When you arrive at the main entrance, say you are there for the Reyes wedding. The receptionist will kindly direct you on where to find the Rose Garden.
What is the parking situation?
At the Boerner Botanical Gardens, there is a public parking lot directly in front of the Gardens' main entrance. Parking is free.
At the American Legion Post 434, there is ample parking space outside of the facilities in their own lots. We will be at the Lower Hall which is the larger/longer building towards the back near the concert pavilion.
What time does the ceremony start?
The ceremony will begin at 1:45pm in the Rose Garden of the Boerner Botanical Gardens located at 9400 Boerner Drive, Hales Corners, Wisconsin. Guests can begin to find seating after 1:30pm. Upon arrival to the Gardens' entrance, let the receptionists know you are there for the Reyes wedding.
Is there a bridal party?
The couple decided that they are not having a traditional bridal party. There are many special people in their lives. Instead of a bridal party entering during the wedding processional, their grandparents, parents, and siblings will participate as their honored guests during their ceremony.
When will family be taking photos with the couple?
The couple would like to save their first look for the aisle, so all couple and family photos will take place immediately after the ceremony in the Boerner Botanical Gardens. We would love to take professional photos with all of you!
Can I bring additional guests?
We are very excited to spend time with our friends and family during this special day. We recently sent official invitations via mail to all invited households. In your RSVP, please choose "Accept" for the names of all who are able to attend the ceremony, reception, or both. To ensure adequate seating, beverage, and dining services for all, please do not bring additional people outside of your household unless confirmed with the couple first.
Where will the reception take place?
The reception will take place in the Lower Hall of the American Legion Post 434 in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, approximately a 20-minute drive from the ceremony site. Cocktail hour will begin at 4:00pm and the event will run until 10:00pm.
When is dinner being served?
There will be a buffet style dinner including homemade and catered Mexican and Italian dishes provided during the reception. After a toast, tables will be released by number.
Should I bring a gift?
Gifts are not required. If you'd like to purchase a gift, the couple will create a registry with ideas of household items or date night accessories that they enjoy.
Where is the honeymoon?
Los Reyes are heading to Italy after tying the knot! This will be their first time visiting Europe together, but definitely not their first time out of the country. They're starting off their two-week journey in Milan. Then they'll make their way to Florence for cooking classes, bike tours, and wine tasting in the Tuscan hills. A high-speed train will transport them back in time to appreciate the historical beauty of Rome. Finally, they'll end their trip near the coast and Mount Vesuvius in the birthplace of pizza, Naples. We'll definitely share post-honeymoon photos with all of you!
