The celebrations begin with the Pelli Koduku Ceremony on for the Groom's party in Dallas on April 28th while the Brides party have the Pelli Koothuru, Haldi and Mehendi in Austin. This is followed by the Welcome and Nischitartham in Austin on April 29th. The wedding ceremony is the next day on April 30th in Austin. On May 2nd we have the Sathyanarayana Pooja and on May 3rd we conclude with the wedding reception both of which will be in Dallas.

Pelli Koduku and Pelli Koothuru are unique pre-wedding rituals in South Indian culture. These ceremonies are similar to the Haldi ceremony in North Indian weddings. Pelli Koduku is the groom's haldi ceremony, and Pelli Kuthuru is for the bride. These rituals mark the beginning of the wedding festivities.

It is the formal engagement ceremony, a significant pre-wedding ritual where the families of the bride and groom come together to officially announce the couple's intention to marry, exchange rings, and vows.

The wedding day festivities will begin approximately around 7/ 8 AM with the Muhurtham between 9-10:30 AM. The day will be filled with multiple rituals led by a priest. Guests can expect to stay at the wedding venue from 8AM to 1-2PM with a traditional vegetarian Indian Lunch served.

For the Pelli Koduku and Pelli Koothuru bright and colourful casual Indian attire- like yellow or orange. For the Nischitartham, and Wedding semi-formal or formal Indian attire. For the reception semi formal or formal Indian or Western attire.
