We met at a friend's party and didn't think much about it. It was one of the first few gatherings we attended after COVID and Vaccinations. Isaac was in town with his dad for a month to spend time with family and was pulled to the gathering. Vera had been occasionally dropping by these gatherings to see her friends. Vera was talking with a bunch of the girls at the kitchen island when Isaac walked in through the front door and came over to introduce himself. And that was where it all began.

After spending time flying between Vancouver and Edmonton and having other adventures, things started getting serious and after long discussions, Isaac packed up all his stuff into his Red CRV and moved down to Vancouver as he and Vera began exploring the next chapter of their journey.

At a certain point in your life, you just know. And for Isaac and Vera, they both realized that this is the person they wanted to continue their adventures with.

When Isaac started his sneaky planning, it turned out it wasn't so sneaky. It was probably when he tried to figure out Vera's ring size with a piece of floss when she was supposedly "sleeping". But that didn't phase him. With the help of 2 of his close friends, he found the perfect ring and embarked on his planning.

In Vera's first trip to Europe, they decided to travel from city to city around Spain. They were enjoying the mysterious yet alluring town of Sevilla when Isaac randomly booked a travel photoshoot package because Vera complained of Isaac's lack of talent at taking photos.

So early in the morning when the city of Sevilla was just getting up, they made their way to the beautiful piece of architecture that is the Plaza de España. There was just something special and captivating in roaming the grounds taking pictures with not a soul around.

And in that moment, Isaac got down on one knee.....
