Our Wedding

Imagine growing up in the same city - same part of town - as your soulmate, but never meeting them. Searching for, but never actually gracing, their presence. Beholding not the splendor of one who is so near, so bound by spirit, and yet remote from your gaze. Such is the story of Veronica and William, who both grew up in Sandy Springs GA, and who knew many of the same people, but never knew each other. Until, as fate would have it, they matched on a dating app! The fall of 2024 first attended their spark, curious and magical. They walked the arts festival at Chastain; they enjoyed wine tastings; they eagerly explored one another's hearts - as autumn descended into winter. And when the seasons reached their chilliest, Veronica and William got cozy, enjoying snow days, holiday bars, and Christmas markets; neon lights, spiked cider, and Tulane gamedays added sparkle to their new love, which shimmered like a rare snowflake. Soon though, the weather thawed, and the angels of spring bore witness to the merging of two hearts. Passover was celebrated; B’nai Mitzvah were officiated; graduations were held. They spent time with one another's families and started to envision a life together. So that when summer - Veronica's favorite season - had finally begun, there were none remaining who had not yet heard the great proclamation of their love. Veronica and William promenaded about, celebratory in the brilliant Atlanta blaze. Cookouts, pool days, and little road trips defined this season of Apollo. And sunscreen ... Lots of sunscreen. No surprise then, that, filled with devotion, William ardently asked for Veronica's hand in marriage, just as the seasons again reset. And Veronica said, "Yes! A hundred times - Yes!" So, with a new autumn looming, a date was then fixed: June 6th, 2026. Their wedding date. Both a culmination of the seasons, and the beginning to a new chapter of their story.
