Q + A

Where is this place?

Parque at Ridley Creek is a state park in Pennsylvania approximately 40 minutes from the Philadelphia airport; though it does not have a physical mailing address, directions can be found through any regular GPS app or website such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, etc. There will be plenty of parking available as well as staff to direct you to the parking lots/venue. It is handicap accessible

What does transportation look like?

If you arriving to the airport, there are abundant rideshare services (Uber, Lyft, etc) in Philadelphia who can shuttle you to one of the hotels listed on our site. We are currently working to see if these hotels might offer a transport service to the wedding venue which is a work in progress. Please check the site on occasion for details and updates.

Can I RSVP online or do I need to mail a response?

By scanning the QR code to get to this website there is a place to RSVP online with questions of meal preferences. If you have any difficulty please feel free to message Dave or Veronica in order to add you manually.

Is this wedding Indoor or Outdoor?

Parque offers a beautiful outdoor venue and the wedding is planned to be outdoors. However, we recognize that weather in May is not always predictable and there are arrangements in place to have the ceremony indoors at the same location should weather interfere.

What should I wear?

We invite our guests to wear whatever makes them feel comfortable. The wedding colors include white, black, gold, and emerald. If you were looking for a general idea for men this would include a black suit and white shirt, for women this would include any attire which matches the color scheme. However you choose express yourself on this very important day we love and welcome you regardless.

Am I able to bring a +1?

Due to the wedding venue size and personnel restrictions we were not able to extend a +1 to every guest. Those with +1s had their significant others or other important family members included on their wedding invitation

What if I have food restrictions?

We did our best to incorporate everyone's possible dietary restrictions in our menu planning. Unfortunately not every aspect of the days menu will have entirely vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options however we did our best to ensure that there would be adequate meals provided for those with limitations

I've noticed there is no wedding registry, whats the deal?

We have been very fortunate to have a house and support that has provided us with everything we need. We know that wedding gifts are often customary but are certainly not necessary. We already are so appreciative that everyone has spent their time and energy to travel and be with us on our special day. There will be a space on the day of the wedding to place any gifts or cards. Additionally, we have set up a place on the website to submit anonymous contributions to a honeymoon fund should you feel so inclined.

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Our ceremony is scheduled for 3:30 pm on Sunday May 5th. We would encourage everyone to arrive on location between 2:45-3pm the day of to ensure that they have adequate time to park, enter the venue, and find their seats. In terms of the reception the end of the night the final cutoff time for music is 9pm with allowance for guests to depart by 10pm; unfortunately this is a restriction in place because the event is at a state park and thus dictated by the laws of the state of Pennsylvania
