Our Wedding

In September 2015, Ryan and Veronica both found themselves single, attending an of Montreal concert in Charlottesville. In a rare moment of social daring, Ryan decided to say hello to Veronica before the show began. What may have been a brief exchange of pleasantries instead became a conversation that lasted the entire evening. By the end of the night Veronica hoped that Ryan would want to continue communicating in the future, but alas, he did not ask for her number (Ryan: I wanted to but didn't have the self-confidence!). Ryan instead went home and gushed to his friend in Frederick, MD about a "really cool girl" he had met who was from there as well. As is often the case in small towns, the two women happened to know one another. What may have been a missed connection instead became a 4 year relationship. It's almost like it was fate or something :)

We have a room block available at the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Downtown Richmond! Please contact the number or website link provided to take advantage of the special rate for a room in our room block; room must be reserved by October 29, 2020 to get the special rate! Rooms are reserved under 'Diaz-Irby Wedding Block.'
